Randy Lyle is a native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, growing up in Arlington, Texas. He began his musical studies on the piano at age 7. Soon after, his interests expanded to the violin, on which he devoted his time to private instruction and participation with the Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth.
Randy studied music at Baylor University in Waco, earning a Bachelor’s degree in music education. He then pursued a Master’s degree in violin performance at the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition to working as a B Sharp Teaching Artist, Randy maintains an active studio of private students and plays regularly with various regional orchestras.
