Marina Dichenko studied violin in Kharkov at Central Music School , Ukraine. After graduation from Central Music School she continued her studies at Gnessin’s Academy of Music in Moscow, Russia and TCU School of Music, Fort Worth, Texas. As a soloist and member of chamber groups she also has performed in concerts and festivals in Ukraine, Russia, Belgium, Japan, and the United States. Marina got second prize in a chamber music competition in Donetsk , Ukraine; fourth prize in International Competition of Chamber music by Sergey Taneev in Kaluga, Russia. She has participated in different festivals, among them Piano Texas International Festival. Marina was a member of the string quartet Dissonans and had a scholarship from the Russian Performance Art Music Fund. In Moscow she worked as a member of the group and as a soloist for the Chamber Orchestra, Moscow Instrumental Capella.
In 2014 she graduated from the Artist Diploma program at TCU School of Music. During the last three years she was principal violinist in the TCU Symphony Orchestra and currently at Odysseus Chamber Orchestra . Her other orchestra experience include concerts with San Angelo, Las Colinas, Arlington, Garland and Plano Symphony Orchestras.
Marina Dichenko is currently Teaching Artist in the B Sharp Youth Music Program in Fort Worth and violin teacher at “Art Wheel Studio” in Roanoke.
