Julie Morgan graduated in 2005 with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Morgan will be finishing up her masters degree in Educational Administration in December. 🙂 She taught 1st grade for 4 years before taking some time off to stay at home with her two children. She recently has been teaching 3rd grade at Keene ISD for the past 3 years.
Ms. Morgan loves music and enjoys weaving it in throughout the school day. She believes that music is a vital part of how we all learn and grow! 🙂 Ms. Morgan is very happy that she had the opportunity to learn to play the piano and clarinet in elementary school. By the time she got to college she enjoyed playing solos and accompanying singers on the piano. She also had the opportunity to play the bass clarinet in a quartet!
Ms Morgan LOVES to go hiking and mountain bike riding with her husband and two children. She lives on a small farm with llamas, chickens, horses, a dog, several cats, and a VERY LOUD donkey.
She is super excited to be a part of the B Sharp POC program at Como and is looking forward to an amazing year! 🙂
