Emily Bialas
3rd Grade Academic Teacher (POC)

Emily Bialas received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University in 2012. After graduating, Emily moved to Bangkok, Thailand for a year and taught at the school on the Palace grounds. After returning to the United States, Emily accepted a position teaching Kindergarten in Connally ISD and remained there for three years. She returned home to the DFW area in 2016 and began working at Como. This will be her second year teaching Kindergarten at Como and her first year as a member of the POC team.

Emily is so excited to be a new member of the POC team! She has always had a passion for music, and she loves to incorporate it in her teaching whenever she can. Her passion for music began when she learned how to play the clarinet in sixth grade, and it has continued to grow ever since. The 2017-2018 school year will be the first year that a Kindergarten class has been included in the B Sharp Program, and Emily is eager to infuse music in the most applicable and beneficial ways for the young students!
