Dorsey Griffin is the Senior Program Coordinator for B Sharp and his responsibilities include not only developing a behavior model for the program, but also overseeing its implementation with students and B Sharp Teaching Artists. He has an impressive background as a Behavioral Specialist, working most recently at Paschal High School in FWISD as a teacher assistant in the Behavior Improvement class.
Prior to his work with FWISD he worked in Dallas County Juvenile Department as a Certified Juvenile Supervision Officer III. He began his career with the Lena Pope Home where he worked for 20 years as a Behavioral Specialist/Truancy Coordinator.
Dorsey attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, after graduating from Ashdown High in Ashdown, Arkansas. While at Henderson State he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Education degree. He was a linebacker on the football team while at Henderson State.
He can still be found on a football field as he is a member of the Fort Worth Football Officials Chapter and officiates at local high school games. He currently resides in Desoto, Texas with his wife, Schnikwa and their four children, Ashley, Dorsey Jr., Chancellor and Coi.
