The Goff Family Foundation is a private foundation funded in August 2007 by Cami and John C. Goff of Fort Worth, Texas. They established the foundation to provide a means for sustainable, ongoing philanthropy for the Fort Worth community. The foundation’s basic mission is to support kids and education in Tarrant County.
The Goff Family Foundation’s current primary initiative is the B Sharp Youth Music Program established at Como Elementary in August 2010. This program focuses on fostering positive youth development through emphasis on academic achievement, on understanding community and on exemplary behavior through music. In addition to B Sharp the foundation provides ongoing support on many levels to the Como community. These initiatives include grants for college scholarships, community projects, Como Elementary special projects and supporting community partners where needed.
Given the entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, John Goff, the foundation will continuously explore unique ways in which to serve the Fort Worth community.
